Surf Glass was contracted by a confidential school client to design and install a bullet-resistant entryway system as part of a broader security enhancement initiative. The school prioritized increased protection without compromising the welcoming look and feel of its entrance.

Our team collaborated closely with architects and school security personnel to source and install bullet-resistant glass and framing, custom-fit to the existing structure. The materials used were tested to meet specific ballistic ratings while allowing for maximum visibility, natural light, and a professional appearance. We fabricated and installed the glass and framing in strict alignment with security codes and school district regulations.

As with all our school-based projects, installation was completed outside of school hours to maintain uninterrupted operations and safety. The end result is a fortified, modern entryway that blends seamlessly with the building’s original architecture offering upgraded protection while preserving a sense of openness and calm.
